Grandad history

Grandad was a bit of a local legend. You may remember him from the original London Road Open Market. He was there for over twenty-two years before moving to the shop at the bottom of Elm Grove while the new market was being built. Not shy of expressing an opinion or two, Grandad was quite a character.

Unfortunately, in 2015 Grandad passed away, and now the shop has an additional face, Mitch – renaming the business as Mitch Bike Repair Shop Brighton.

Mitch has many years of experience under the well-known, Grandad and is now carrying on the legacy of its founder.  With a strong passion for bikes and mechanics, Mitch’s goal is to fix anything he puts his hand on.
